W.I.S Open day !!

KAPOW !! On the 3rd of August, The year 6's and I went to the Wesley Intermediate open day. We got to meet the Teacher's, Principals, and Student leaders. We got split up In houses's and I was put In the Green House which is called Marlborough. The first activity that we did was PE.  We had a PE teacher named Mr. Ball and he was Teaching us Basketball skills throughout the whole session. In the end, we had a Basketball game against May road school. I got so Hyped because I got 1,000 points for my team and we were also Winning.  

The next activity that we went to was Robotics. My favourite part was when we were Controlling Sphero's on the Chromebook. It was so fun because we got to Control it and Change the Colour.  Our last Activity was Cooking. Cooking was also fun because I got to learn new stuff and learning how to bake. My friend and I, Zac, we were buddy's and also helping each other Pouring the ingredients into the bowl because that's what Partnership is all about. Finally, we all met In the hall and sat down waiting for the Certificate that they were giving to. When the Principal called out my name for my Certificate I was so happy and proud of my self. Lastly, we walked back to school and had a Chair game.

This year I'm looking forward to learning more stuff and get prepared to go Intermediate. Next year I'm going to Wesley intermediate because I've experienced a lot there and I live more close. I'm feeling confident next year because I've learned a lot and I learned my Lessons.

Gravity Experiment Writing !!

 Have you ever fallen from a Tree? Well did you know it was gravity that makes any object fall.

My class and I prepared a gravity experiment about what object will fall down first. My group and I used a stool and a chair but they weren't the same height so we put the stool up to were the chair was. Here's one fact. Issac Newton was the first one to know and research about gravity.

Here's how our experiment turned out. So we voted which stool and which chair will fall down but we think that the small stool will fall down first because it's small.

So we dropped it at the same time and the stool was the first one to hit the ground!
